Tibet Bureau Geneva Participates in Losar Function Held at Rikon Chokhor Ling

Chinese Liaison Officer for European countries Sangay Kyab attended Tibetan Losar function in Zurich as representative of the Tibet Bureau Geneva on 28 February 2025.

During the event, organised by Rikon Chokhor Ling Monastery, a portrait of His Holiness the Dalai Lama was escorted in a procession led by the Abbot of Rikon Monastery, the representative from the Office of Tibet Sangay Kyab, former officials, and the President and Vice President of the Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

After the prayers, the Abbot of Rikon Chokhor Ling Monastery provided a guidance on both actions of abstention and adherence. Then, Chinese Liaison Officer Sangay Kyab delivered an address. While reflecting on the successful accomplishments of the past, made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Office of Tibet, the Central Tibetan Administration, and the public, he implored the all involved parties for their continued support for ongoing activities in this new year.
