Prior to taking up this role, he was the\u00a0 Secretary of the Department of Home under the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) in\u00a0 Dharamshala, India. He had previously held the office of the Acting Secretary of Health\u00a0 Department and later, Department of Home between 2016 to 2017. He has also served as the\u00a0 Settlement Officer across various Tibetan exile settlements in India. Mr. Rigzin joined the CTA\u00a0 in January 1997 as the Deputy Secretary at the Kashag (Cabinet) Secretariat.
