He studied B.A and M.A in History from St. Stephen&#8217;s College, Delhi University. He was among the first group of Tibetan Fulbright Scholarship to study in the United States and earned a degree in Journalism from Columbia University, New York.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\">He was a member of the last fact-finding mission to visit in Tibet in 1985.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\">He has written extensively on Tibet in Indian and international newspapers and journals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\">He is the author of \u2018Falling Through the Roof\u2019, a work of fiction and co-author of the Dalai Lamas of Tibet.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. Thubten Samphel is the Director of the Tibet Policy Institute.
