Cédric Jeanneret, Member of the Grand Council of the Republic and Canton of Geneva
Cédric Jeanneret completed his basic electrical engineer training with a Bachelor of Arts of Social Worker and a postgraduate Master’s degree in Energy of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
Since the 90’ he has been working as scientific and academic advisor for communication and local energy agencies and has created several start-ups and NGO’s related to energy efficiency, renewables, clean mobility and sustainable development.
He assists the Industrial Ecology Executive Director of the energy operator SIG as senior expert, focused on forecast, innovation, prospective, design and evaluation of energy transition programs in various cities and Swiss utilities.
At political level, he is also member of the Grand Council of Geneva, the Parliament of the canton of Geneva in Switzerland.
He discovered Tibetan culture during a trek in Zanskar (northern India) and is a member of the Swiss-Tibetan Friendship Society.
