
Parliamentarian Delphine Klopfenstein Broggini, Nationa Council, Switzerland
Delphine Klopfenstein Broggini was born on 9 June 1976 in Bern, Switzerland. She is a sociologist and a Swiss politician from the Canton of Geneva, representing the Green Party.
She has been a Member of the Swiss National Council since 2019. Her parliamentary work focuses on environmental protection, biodiversity, sustainable transport, asylum policy, and political institutions. She is particularly engaged in issues related to climate justice and social equity.
Ms. Klopfenstein Broggini serves on the Transport and Telecommunications Committee and the Political Institutions Committee, and is a member of Dél-F, the Swiss parliamentary delegation for relations with the French Parliament. She is also an active member of the Tibet Parliamentary Group.
In addition, she co-chairs several interparliamentary groups, including those on climate, bees, and democracy and journalism. She is also a member of groups dedicated to biodiversity, equality, soft mobility, and renewable energies.
