Edward Chin is Convenor of 2047 Hong Kong Monitor, an activist group that advocates on the democratic movement of Hong Kong. Chin studied Speech Communication at the University of Minnesota, U.S., graduated with an Applied Economics degree from the University of Manitoba, and an MBA from the University of Toronto. He writes at the Apple Daily and hosts a weekly radio program at D100 Radio in Hong Kong focusing on investments, current affairs and human rights issues on a local and global level. He has over 25 years of experience in media and financial management and has worked at multiple places in different capacities.
